I’ll admit. I haven’t spent much time in the garden this year. Mainly because it has been wet. Not the ideal sort of weather to spend time digging in the dirt, unless you like mud.
But now that it is starting to dry out a bit, it seems there is another issue. Weeds. My lack of time in the garden means that something else has taken advantage. The weeds are trying to take over. And I think they have a deal with the mosquitoes, because if you spend any amount of time trying to get rid of weeds, you will be attacked by their little flying friends.
At least my tomatoes are trying their best, in spite of the cool and the damp this year. Now if I can just find a way to convince the weeds to back off…
