Big Brothers Big Sisters of the South Shore is gearing up for its largest fundraiser of the year.
This is the 18th Annual Golf for Kids Sake tournament.
It happens Thursday afternoon at the Osprey Ridge Golf Course.
Executive Director and Mentoring Coordinator, Jennifer Meister, says the event brings in the majority of their fundraising money because of support from local businesses.
“All of the funds that we raise go towards our mentoring programs and that’s for kids in Lunenburg and Queens counties. This provides all the services and activities that we give for kids throughout the year.”
Roughly 130 golfers and volunteers will be part of the event.
It will also feature a live and silent auction.
