There was an increase last week.
But it looks like prices at the pumps will take a dip at midnight when Nova Scotia’s Utility and Review Board sets prices, according to petroleum analyst Dan McTeague.
“It looks like a two cent decrease for gas come Friday. On the diesel side, I’m looking at nearly a penny decrease.”
He expects the board to pass on the decrease that’s been seen on the market.
McTeague says the markets are reacting to fear in the global economy over the trade war between the US and China leading to a global recession.
