Bridgewater’s Konnor Benjamin and Lunenburg’s Will Chisholm each scored in the shootout as the UPS Store South Shore Mustangs got by the Kohltech Valley Wildcats 2-1 Saturday afternoon in exhibition play.
The Wildcats held a 1-0 lead until 3:30 left in the third period when Lunenburg’s Will Cook scored an unassisted goal for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs improved to 2-0 in exhibition play.
The club will finalize their 2019-2020 roster following next weekend’s early bird tournament in Berwick.
The Mustangs play their first game of the tournament at 10 a.m Friday against the Cole Harbour Wolfpack. They follow that with their second game Friday night at 5:30 p.m against the Cape Breton West Islanders.
On Saturday, the Mustangs’ lone contest is versus the Halifax McDonalds at 5:30 p.m.
Their final game of the tournament will be Sunday at 5:30 p.m against the Dartmouth Steele Subaru Major Midgets.
