The South Shore Junior ‘A’ Lumberjacks lost 7-2 to the Truro Bearcats Saturday night in Truro.
The ‘Jacks and Bearcats were tied at two after the first period following a pair of goals from Carter McCluskey.
But, Truro would go on to score two more times in the second and add another three goals in the third for the convincing victory.
The Bearcats went 3 for 8 on the powerplay while the Lumberjacks went 0 for 5.
The Lumberjacks are back on the ice Friday night at home versus Valley.
Puck drop is 7 p.m at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
