Officials with the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg are venturing out into the community.
Once again, they’ve announced a series of meetings to be held across the region in an effort they’re calling Your Government, Your Ideas.
The aim is to highlight the municipality’s plans for the upcoming year and to inform residents about goals they’ve already met.
According to Mayor Carolyn Bolivar-Getson, the meetings will provide residents the opportunity ask questions and express their thoughts on various issues.
The first meeting will be held at 7:00pm October first at the Lunenburg Fire Hall.
Anyone who can’t attend in person can share their thoughts by filling out the Your Government, Your Ideas survey on the MODL website.
