“I Don’t” Dynasty

A listener wants your advice for this Listener’s Dilemma

I’m a casual vegan (who occasionally has fish, eggs and dairy) and I’ve made wedding cakes for most of my family and friends for years. I’m also very involved in animal rescue groups and am very against hunting.

Now my favourite niece has asked me to bake and decorate a wedding cake for her upcoming wedding. Her fiance is big into the hunting and fishing lifestyle and they’ve chosen a hunting theme for their wedding and have requested a camo wedding cake to go with the bride’s camo wedding dress. ((I’m imagining this wedding will look like a Giant Tiger clearance sale.)

I don’t want to make a camo cake nor do I want to attend a hunting-themed wedding which goes against all my beliefs. What should I do so I don’t create bad feelings in the family?
