A listener sent in this dilemma , asking for your advice:
“I got married to an extremely beautiful young woman from Poland last year, and things have been great the last 10 months except for one thing. She is addicted to taking “selfies”. I don’t mean she takes a selfie of herself when we are somewhere new. She takes them at home, when we’re driving, at restaurants, the movie theatre, walking the beach, hiking, everywhere! Probably close to 200 a day, then when we get home she goes through them to pick out the best ones and posts them to her social media accounts.
I understand that she’s very good-looking and the camera seems to love her, but it all seems a bit over the top. There’s 10 years age difference between us (she’s in her mid-twenties) but this infatuation with having her picture taken is making me kind of crazy and suspicious at the same time. She knows how I feel but told me it’s her favourite thing to do. Is she insecure? What can I do to help her?
