A late night car accident sent two to hospital Monday evening.
RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 325 in Whynott Settlement involving two vehicles.
A 22-year-old male from Hebbs Cross and a 25-year-old woman from Maitland were both sent to hospital.
The man suffered life threatening injuries and there has been no update on his condition.
Neither car had any other passengers.
Highway 325 was closed for several hours as an RCMP Collision Analyst went over the scene.
A cause for the accident has not been found and the investigation is ongoing.
