I’m really pumped for this new Terminator film – Dark Fate that hits theatres on November 1st. It’s a direct sequel to the second (and last best) Terminator series – Judgement Day from 1991.
Sure, there were some lackluster sequels like Rise of the Machines, Salvation and Genisys through the early 2000’s but they just didn’t have all the originals or the storyline was contrived.
This time around original director James Cameron is a featured co-writer for his creation, and his ex-wife actress Linda Hamilton is back as Sarah Connor. Yes, Arnie’s in it too, but the real surprise is Mackenzie Davis as the breakout star in the series. You might remember her as Cameron Howe in the excellent TV series Halt and Catch Fire.

If this film does well at the box office, I’ve heard that it will be the first in a trio of Terminator films. Here’s hoping!
