A listener writes:
I live across the street on a shore line drive and love my limited view of the ocean. My neighbours across the road on the ocean side have a large tree that is growing and blocking my view. The lady of the house says it was put in to give her privacy from her next door neighbours. I’m not sure what kind of tree it is, but it’s evergreen and is now growing out instead of up. In another couple of years it will completely block my view. I enjoyed the view so much that I had my husband build a family room with big windows on that side of the house. I offered my neighbour to let me pay for a professional tree trimmer to keep this tree trimmed so I can still get a bit of a view but she declined and I’ve since heard that she calls me the neighbourhood weirdo now. Should I up the ante and offer her and her husband cash or at this point should I just let it go?
