A Conquerall Mills man is facing a slew of charges after assaulting an officer in Bridgewater.
On Wednesday, both RCMP and Bridgewater Police Services were searching for 23-year-old Lucas Cory Greek on a warrant for previous charges which includes:
Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Assault with a Weapon
Forcible Confinement
Uttering Threats
Operating a Motor Vehicle while Prohibited
and three counts of Failure to comply with Condition of a Recognizance
Police attempted to arrest Greek when he was found in Bridgewater, but he resisted, biting a BPS officer.
Greek was taken into custody and is remanded until he appears in court on Nov. 25.
He faces extra charges of Obstruction (Resisting Arrest) and Assaulting a Police Officer.
The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.
