CKBW and Country 100.7’s Annual Toy Drive Kicks Off Today

Today CKBW and Country 100.7 will be collecting toys for the Salvation Army.

As part of the annual toy drive staff will be collecting toys at the Canadian Tire in Bridgewater from 9 am to 6 pm today and from 10 am until 5 pm on Saturday.

CKBW host and program director Ryan Everest spoke about why they are supporting this cause.

“The goal is to make sure every boy and girl wakes up Christmas morning with a toy under their tree”, he said.

“We’ve been doing this for years with the help of the Salvation Army and many other community partners to help bring toys in and make Christmas merry for everyone.”

Also in support of the toy drive the Lumberjacks will be having a teddy bear toss during tonight’s game at the LCLC.
