A second home in two weeks has been destroyed by fire in the Mount Pleasant area.
LaHave Fire Department responded to a fully involved house fire on Mount Pleasant Road shortly before 9 am Monday, with assistance from Pleasantville, Conquerall Bank, Petite Riviere, and Riverport fire departments.
Firefighters were on scene for multiple hours and the house was deemed a complete loss.
No injuries were reported from the incident, but two men were displaced from the residence.
At the moment, the cause of the fire is unclear and an investigation is underway.
On Christmas Eve, three other residents were displaced after their home was destroyed by a house fire.
