Expected Snowfall Causes Cancellations Across The South Shore

Its looking to be quite a messy day in parts of the South Shore.

Lunenburg County is currently under a snowfall warning with expected snowfall between 20 and 35 cm throughout the morning and into the afternoon.

Queens and Shelburne Counties are also expected to see some snow, around 10-15 cm.

Some municipal services have been cancelled for today in anticipation for the storm, as garbage collections in Bridgewater, the District of Lunenburg, Chester, Mahone Bay, the Region of Queens and the Municipality of Shelburne.

Bridgewater Transit is also not running for the day, and schools under the SSRCE and Tri-County schools are closed for the day.
