I’ve asked you to tell me some little-known things about you, so turnabout is fair play.
I like socks. Crazy socks. I have socks with David Suzuki on them, poutine, radio stations and just about any crazy thing you can think of. Hey! Stop staring at my feet.
I was into pottery for a while, took some classes, bought a kiln and then realized I hated the cleanup. Still have the kiln. Get your order in for dishes for when I retire.
I spend way too much time playing videogames.. well, actually just two. Over 5000 hours into open world shooter Rust and am currently learning how to run a Rust server. Having trouble with putting mods on the server but that’s what keeps me occupied. I also like a mindless side scroller called Kingdom New Lands that I rarely beat. Also I play Age of Empires 3 online with my grandson in Rimouski, Quebec every Saturday morning. We have a blast!
I was the first private citizen in Nova Scotia outside of an educational institution to have an internet account. Even the people that sold me the account wanted to know why in the world I wanted to have internet. However, I am the most useless person in the world with regard to cellphones. After owning one for several years my wife Karen gave me her old Iphone 6 and I struggle to find my way around the thing. My New Year’s resolution was to finally take the phone with me when I leave the house. So far, so good. I just don’t know how to check voicemail or turn the ringer to vibrate. (It’s on my list of things to learn.. very far down the list)
I made a personal decision to quit drinking 20 years ago. I still miss the taste of beer so I like to try different “near-beers”. Non-alcoholic wine is a travesty. I never liked hard liquor. Pot puts me to sleep. I am not the life of the party.
I prefer to read or listen to audiobooks and podcasts over watching tv and movies.
So what interesting or little known fact about you would you like to share?
