Tuesday (yesterday) was National Cold Cut Day!!! I don’t think I’ve ever found a processed deli meat I don’t love. Only problem is they don’t love me. I have a nasty food allergy to the preservatives (usually nitrites) in processed meats that skyrockets my blood pressure, so I have to read the labels carefully on them.
Now that doesn’t mean you won’t see me standing, staring at the deli counter at the grocery store perhaps drooling from both sides of my mouth. Back in the day when I’d pick up some sub buns and some deli meats I did have a very old school favourite. Macaroni and Cheese Loaf. Looks weird. Tastes great!
