I can’t figure it out. Why people have been stocking up on toilet paper.
Not that I buy it one roll at a time, but how much do you need? Yeah, there’s this virus thing and we may want to stock up a bit. But how much toilet paper do you need?
I usually get a few rolls ahead. You know, buy it when you see it on sale so you have a few rolls on hand, but there are limited things you can use toilet paper for. Very few of them will protect you from the flu or a cold or whatever combination of the two that this thing seems to be.
There were suggestions to stock up. But I think they meant things that you may need on hand. Like food. a couple extra cans of chicken soup might be handy. Or maybe some pasta. Or a bag of rice. You know, the sort of thing you might want to eat if you don’t feel well and don’t want to leave the house. Things that will keep in the cupboard, but will still make a meal. That sort of stocking up.
I can even understand the hand sanitizer. Maybe even facial tissue. I just don’t get the run on toilet paper.
