Antigonish nursing home employee tests positive for COVID-19

More cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nova Scotia.

In a press release on Saturday the provincial government identified 20 new cases.

That brings the total across the province to 110.

One of the individuals confirmed with coronavirus works at the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home in Antigonish.

Public Health is investigating and no residents or other staff are showing symptoms.

Officials say some residents are now in self-isolation as a precautionary measure and close contacts are being tested.

No residents at long-term care facilities in Nova Scotia have tested positive for COVID-19.
