A young woman was injured after her car went off the road this afternoon and onto the edge of the LaHave River.

RCMP, paramedics and firefighters from LaHave arrived on scene just before 1 p.m. on Highway 331 in West LaHave.
Corporal David Ferguson says police are trying to confirm what happened.
“We’re still doing some follow-up investigation into what happened and what caused her to go off the road.”
The woman was able to get out of the car on her own.

Her age was not known but Ferguson says she was taken to South Shore Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
