I watched the final series episode of one of my favourite tv shows of the last 8 years – Homeland, the story of Carrie Mathison and her attempts to save the world. And in the final ten minutes there is a major plot twist that I didn’t see coming. I’ve thought about it for days, and I have to say this is one of my top ten plot twists that I didn’t see coming. Here are my other nine plot twists:
Ned Stark in Game of Thrones and just about any season of Sons of Anarchy where main characters were no longer safe.
The final episode of Seinfeld.
The movies Shutter Island, The 6th Sense, The Crying Game and The Usual Suspects.
That makes eight. The final episode of the Bob Newhart Show (the second one) would be my number two plot twist I didn’t see coming.
And my number one plot twist has to be my 2020 calendar I bought that didn’t mention anything about Coronavirus or quarantining.
