Province announces 12 new COVID-19 cases

The province has announced 12 new cases of COVID-19.

A press release Thursday confirmed a total of 947 cases, but says 545 are considered resolved, which means about 58 per cent of cases are no longer active.

There were no new deaths reported, the provincial total stands at 28 since the pandemic began.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says it’s not time to let our guard down yet, public health orders are slowing the spread and we need to stay the course.
