That’s the one big thing that drives me a bit crazy this time of year. You never know what to wear.
It could range anywhere from a light sweater to a parka. And you can’t tell by looking out the window. That would be far too easy. A slight breeze from the north and that beautiful looking day feels downright chilly.
You almost need an entire wardrobe with you whenever you venture outside. And even then, you might not be safe. Out of the wind… too warm. In the wind… when did winter come back?
It always happens in both spring and fall. The weather just can’t seem to make up it’s mind what it wants to be and is intent on tricking us, just when you think you have it figured out. And reaching into the closet is a bit like playing roulette. You pretty much know as soon as you grab something, the weather will somehow change.
But I’ll play the layer game a while longer… start out with enough to stay warm no matter what and take off what I don’t need as I go. It’s not like I’m going far right now anyway.
