In case you missed it the last few weeks, pancake cereal was taking the internet by storm. Basically using a squirt bottle, you make teeny tiny pancakes and serve them in a bowl drizzled with maple syrup and milk.
Well, one food blogger tried it and was not impressed with putting milk on pancakes. He hated the mushy texture of pancakes and milk, and thought what does go with milk?
And then he had a eureka moment. Cookies and Milk!!! Of course. So he took some premade cookie dough and quartered them again and again until he had hundreds of tiny mini-cookies and baked them up and… put them in a cereal bowl, poured on the milk and enjoyed his Cookie Cereal.
Now before you dismiss this out of hand, remember some of the cereals we used to eat when we were kids? They had to contain way more sugar than cookie cereal.
