Nothing too ominous here, I’m talking about donuts. All of my favourite pastries at my local doughnut shop have mysteriously disappeared. And I can’t believe that they weren’t popular with other people, so I can’t figure out why they were dropped from menus. Walnut Crunch? Remember that one? It was my fave for many years.
They still have apple fritters but what happened to blueberry fritters? Another favourite taken away.
And I haven’t been able to pass the Dutchie ‘pon the left hand side for many years. They were so good!
Does anyone remember the Long John? It looked like an eclair but was completely different under the chocolate.
Here’s a tip. I now love Honey Crullers. Grab them while you can.
