Yet another summer event has thrown in the towel for this year’s festivities.
The 32nd annual NS Folk Art Festival has been cancelled due to restrictions and uncertainty related to COVID-19.
The Lunenburg Heritage Society announced the decision in a press release yesterday, saying they are thankful for all the support they received from both artists and visitors of the festival.
This year’s festival had over 50 returning artists lined up, as well as eight new artists joining the festival for the first time.
The society says the festival is still alive and well, and will see its return on August 1, 2021.
Anyone looking to contact them for future business or festivals can find out how to do so by visiting their website.
