There’s been one new death and one new confirmed case of COVID-19.
A release today says the death occurred at the Northwood long-term care home in Halifax, 52 deaths total for that facility.
This brings the provincial total confirmed cases to 1046; with 959 recoveries and 58 deaths, that leaves 29 active cases province-wide.
5 per cent of infections have been fatal, and 91 per cent have recovered.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says we must remain vigilant until a vaccine is available.
