We have TWIN Athlete’s of the Week! Mya & Alexa Whynot!
6 year old Mya played her first year of Timbits hockey this year with Queens Minor Hockey. She went out on the ice, not knowing how to skate. She came off the ice a few time during the season wanting to quit but she kept going out every practice and by the end of the season she was skating fast and giving it her all! She was so excited to play in the Timbit Jamboree but it was cancelled because of the situation ongoing in the world. She can’t wait to get back out on the ice with her twin sister and her team!
Alexa also played her first year of Timbits hockey. She didn’t know how to skate but by the end of her first practice, she was up on her feet without an aid and giving it her all. She was so excited, wearing her Dad’s old hockey number and playing hockey! She can’t wait to get back out on the ice too!
