RCMP in Queens County say they have found human remains in a wooded area near New Grafton Road.
Staff Sergeant Derek Smith confirms officers made the find around 11:30 this morning.
Smith couldn’t confirm the identity of the person but police are investigating to determine it and notify next of kin.
RCMP were searching the area earlier this fall for Wayne Jacob Zong.
The 55 year-old has been missing since mid-August.
Foul play is not suspected.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office is also investigating.
