An Investigation into a fatal dog attack in Middle Musquodoboit June 9, has been concluded.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office released its findings yesterday, confirming that the 38-year old woman died as a result of injuries caused by her dog.
It was suspected that the woman was attacked by her dog while out for a walk on Wittenburg Road. Witnesses reported that her body was lying in a ditch and the dog was still on scene. The dog was later found deceased after being hit by a vehicle.
