Two Bridgewater residents were arrested last week for drug possession and trafficking following a drug raid.
30-year-old Kala Swinimer and 38-year-old Quenton Sykes of Bridgewater were arrested following a search warrant execution on a residence on Frank’s Lane Friday.
Bridgewater Police and the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit found an unspecified amount of cocaine, cash and other drug paraphernalia during the search.
Both Swinimer and Sykes were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. Sykes was also charged with Breaching a Release order.
Sykes was remanded into custody until today, and Swinimer was released on conditions and is expected to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Sept. 30.
