Lunenburg Farmer’s Market Holding Modified Outdoor Market Thursday

The Lunenburg Farmer’s Market will once again be hosting an outdoor market after months of strictly online ordering.

Market Manager Ashley Marlin says she wasn’t sure this day would come but now that it has everyone is looking forward to being able to enjoy fresh-air shopping.

“The online ordering has been very successful, we have had an average of 215 orders a week and that has kept about 30 vendors in business throughout this. With the summer bumper crops it will give them another opportunity to move their products,” she said.

Marlin says that information on the market will be shared online here.

The set-up will modified to follow public health directives including one-way customer traffic flow and a maximum of 25 vendors. Hand sanitizers will be available and people are encouraged to wear face masks.

In addition to the outdoor market online ordering will still be available for those interested.

Vendors will be set up in the Lunenburg Arena parking lot from 8 am to noon.
