Someone asked me on FB the other day what my “perfect” movie was, One that I would give a 10 out of 10. It took me awhile to narrow down the list of contenders but here were my finalists.
(I also cheated and looked at other people’s picks for ideas)
Braveheart. Almost perfect. Lost a point for length.
Forrest Gump or The Green Mile. Tom Hanks at his best.
A bunch of sixties classics – Romeo and Juliette, Bridge Over the River Kwai, Lawrence of Arabia, Dr Zhivago.
The Godfather Part 1 and Part 2 Pretty close to perfect,
Shawshank Redemption. Most amazing movie ever.
But my perfect movie which combines so many genres is……
The Princess Bride.
