A member of the the RCMP – Southwest Nova District is facing six child pornography charges.
SIRT, Nova Scotia’s independent Serious Incident Response Team laid the charges after they were contacted by the RCMP in early March concerning an investigation they were conducting.
The investigation into the matter began several days later when additional information became available.
Constable Jeffrey Hirsch will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court to face charges of possession and distribution of child pornography on August 12th.
