One of my favourite brands of pasta sauce – Ragu , has stopped selling in Canada. I’m not sure why, and the company hasn’t stated a reason in their press release.
Sure, homemade spaghetti sauce is always better than the store bought stuff, but I like to cheat and start with a base of the store bought pasta sauce and add extras.
To make matters worse, my garden tomatoes which were supposed to be regular sized are now turning red, but they are the size of cherry tomatoes.
I guess I shouldn’t complain too much since the rest of the garden has been the best I’ve ever seen. Lots of beans, peas, beets, blueberries, lettuce, radishes.
How has your garden been doing this hot, dry summer? Anyone else having an underwhelming tomato crop?
