No new cases, updated online pre-screening

Provincial officials are reporting no new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.

It’s the first day the Department of Health and Wellness hasn’t reported a new case since a week-long streak was broken Wednesday.

Two active infections remain in the province and one person is in the ICU.

Officials announced residents will now be able to complete a self assessment online which should reduce wait times to be screened for testing from 12 hours to ten minutes and take stress off 811.
