I must admit I’ve been experiencing Covid fatigue the last few weeks – Forgetting to bring my mask with me when I head to work, or perhaps getting too close to coworkers.
It started with the news of the Pfizer vaccine being 90 per cent effective.
Then the latest announcements out of Halifax of lots of new cases gave me a dose of reality.
I’m back to being very aware of my surroundings and what I touch when I stop by the grocery store or even when I hit the drive through for a coffee.
Between Christmas shopping and the family get togethers and perhaps even unofficial office parties coming up in the next six weeks I’m starting to get worried.
It’s been a long year so far, and it’s not over yet. My thought is that if we can all maintain the rules and not let the Christmas craziness take over, we should be able to get through these next critical couple of months and come out the other side in reasonably good shape.
What are you doing to combat “Covid fatigue”? Or are you just rolling the dice?
