Nova Scotia To Receive $3.8 Billion In Federal Transfer Payments

The Federal Government has shared details of transfer payments for 2021-22.

Nova Scotia will receive just over 3.8 billion dollars in transfer payments, an increase of 211 million from the previous year.

The breakdown provided in a letter from Federal Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland states that Health transfer payments account for nearly more than 1.5 billion dollars.

The federal government says all provinces and territories were expected to see a year-over-year increase in total major transfer amounts.
