I love gadgets. I can spend hours looking at the latest GoFundMe’s and Patreons and Kickstarters for new gizmos that supposedly will make our life easier. But the biggest buzz from the Consumer Electronics Show that is on now virtually is the Coldsnap.
It’s a Keurig-like little kitchen counter appliance that takes aluminum recyclable shelf-stable pods and turns them into soft serve ice cream. The pods will be around 3 bucks apiece but here’s the part that kills it for me. The machine right now is about 1000 US – however they hope to cut that price in half at some point. 500 bucks is still too pricey. Plus what if you like your soft-serve dipped in chocolate?
I’ll make the trip to the nearest take-out or ice cream shop that sells soft-serve.
Do you prefer soft-serve ice cream over the regular hard ice cream? And must it be dipped?
