Sharing Isn’t A Big Deal

I’ve read a couple of news stories with people thinking it quite amazing that Nova Scotia isn’t more up in arms about vaccine that was supposed to be coming here being sent to others who need it more. I really don’t think it’s a big deal.

For most of us, it’s not like we have anywhere to go. And we have managed to keep disease levels quite low. So if we can help others who could be in greater danger, why not?

The whole process of vaccinating large numbers of people, enough that it is going to make a real difference, is going to take some time. Enough time that an extra week or two probably wouldn’t make a big difference.

While I have family that are older and I would like to see them get vaccinated, they have kept safe this long, so we can hopefully keep them safe a little longer.

If all we are doing is postponing a vaccination by a few days in order to help others, it seems pretty easy to do. It’s along the lines or borrowing a cup of sugar from a neighbour.

Sharing really isn’t that tough.
