Is there an old car you had to get rid of that you still miss?
Finally got too expensive to run? Or it broke down for the last time?
Maybe kids came along and that sports car needed to change into a four door with back seats for the child car seats?
Or you thought you deserved a new vehicle to replace that aging clunker?
I’ve had a few flashy fun to drive vehicles in my time – when I lived for a year in southern California I had a T-bird.
When I came home to Nova Scotia I had a brand new Mercury Capri John Player Special that was a real head turner.
But the car I still miss was an innocuous looking little red Civic VX hatchback that was fun to drive and at the time cost me a toonie to drive to the city.
I drove it coast to coast a couple of times.
If I won the lottery it’s the first thing I would purchase with the winnings.
