The South Shore Lumberjacks picked up a 3-2 win over the valley on Friday night.
The Jacks got second period goals from Riley Spears and Matt Rodriguez to help secure the victory.
Jeremy Robar made 36 saves in net.
The Jacks are back in action at the LCLC on Friday night as they take on Pictou County.
