RCMP are looking for the public’s help in identifying a person believed to be responsible for stealing a truck in Yarmouth.
Police say a van was taken from a home on the night of March 20.
Mounties located the van Monday morning, and the driver was last seen running into the woods near Highway 3 (Lighthouse Route and Goulds Lane) towards Highway 103 in the Brooklyn/Liverpool area.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue painter paints, sandy-coloured Converse sneakers, a black ballcap with “Fancy” written on it and a grey ski mask over top of the ballcap.
RCMP would like to remind residents in the area to not leave their keys in their vehicles and ensure that doors to their residences are locked.
