Large Drop In Gas Prices Expected In N.B.; Small Decrease Predicted in N.S.

After weeks of steady increases at the pumps it appears driver in New Brunswickers will get some relief.

Industry analysts are predicting a drop of about seven cents or more in that province when prices are adjusted at midnight.

Meantime, George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices, is predicting a drop of about one or two cents in Nova Scotia when prices are adjusted tomorrow night.

It follows an 8.2 cent drop for regular gas when the regulatory board used its interrupter clause on Saturday morning.

The price of gas is selling for about 1.23 to 1.25 per litre depending on where you live.
