Bridgewater: Woman Charged With Arson After Dufferin Street Fire

A woman is now facing arson charges after a suspicious fire earlier this year in Bridgewater.

Police and firefighters responded to an electrical fire at 45 Dufferin Street on the night of February 11.

An investigation revealed the fire was deliberately set and the matter was turned over to police.

Megan Amanda Williams was arrested by Halifax Police last week in relation to the incident.

Williams is currently in custody on other charges and is due in Bridgewater court in May.

Anyone with additional information related to this investigation is asked to contact police in Bridgewater.
