Nova Scotians over 70 eligible for COVID vaccine

COVID-19 vaccine appointments are open to anyone over the age of 70.

Moderna and Pfizer are available at community clinics and pharmacies across the province.

Starting Tuesday, if you are between the ages of 55 and 64, you’ll be able to book an appointment to receive AstraZeneca.

Premier Iain Rankin says within three months, every Nova Scotian that wants a vaccine will have their first dose.

“We’re well on track to meet our target of delivering a first dose to every Nova Scotian by the end of June.”

Three new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.

Two Central Zone cases and one in the Western Zone.
