Region of Queens pays tribute to Prince Phillip

The Region of Queens is paying tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh.

The municipality is flying its flags at its administration building and Queens Place Emera Centre at half-mast until the funeral is held for Prince Phillip on Saturday, April 17.

The Region of Queens and other municipalities on the South Shore (such as the Town of Bridgewater and Municipality of the District of Lunenburg) will keep its flags at half-staff until sunset on the day of the funeral.

Prince Phillip died at Windsor Castle at the age of 99 on April 9.

He was married to Queen Elizabeth II for 74 years.
