Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing This Weekend in Bridgewater

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is hosting another pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic this weekend in Bridgewater.

The clinic will operate out of the Bridgewater Cineplex, starting Friday, April 30, and running through till Sunday, May 2.

On Friday and Saturday, testing will be offered from noon until 7 p.m., on Sunday it runs from noon until 6 p.m.

Appointments are not required and the clinic is open to anyone aged 16 and up, though if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms it is asked that you do not visit the testing clinic.

If you are experiencing symptoms it is recommended that you call 811, who will offer advice on how to proceed and how to safely book a test.

The Lunenburg County Emergency Management Office are helping organize the event and in their release, they say there is an urgent need for volunteers.

They are looking to fill multiple positions includeing greeters, registration, traffic flow, and general support, swabbers, testers, texting results, exit personnel – Anyone interested in volunteering can find more info here.
