3 COVID cases at New Germany schools

Officials with public health have modified their messaging to students and staff within the New Germany family of schools.

Two positive cases have been identified at the high school, and one case has been found at the elementary.

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is now directing anyone with symptoms to book a COVID-19 test.

Originally, all students and staff were directed to get tested.

Any close contacts of the three positive cases will be identified and contacted by public health.

Online learning plans will continue this week and the schools had a deep cleaning on the weekend.
