The 2018-2019 season will celebrate the 25th anniversary season of the Mooseheads.
Halifax won the CHL’s top prize in 2013 when Nathan MacKinnon scored a hat-trick to lead the Mooseheads over the Portland Winterhawks 6-4.
Halifax also hosted the Memorial Cup in 2000.
The winning bid of the 2019 Memorial Cup is expected to be announced in spring of 2018.
